Hi, my name is Cherie Erkson and I have 3 children and I go to school full time. Things are tight for me these days, but I consider myself fortunate because I have a roof over my head and food in my stomach. I am donating a small amount and I hope you understand I know it isn’t a lot. My dream has been to be able to help those who are in need, as I have been homeless in the past also. A few weeks ago I drove to Berkeley to a park where people stay because they have no home. I went to McDonalds and bought lunch for 40 people. I know this only helped them for the moment, but it was all I could afford to do.

I thought that maybe you would know how I could help someone here. I would like to reach out and help someone here in the bay area of California. I live in Oakley, which is near Antioch, Walnut Creek and Concord.
